What Is An Airboat?

Essentially an Airboat is a type of boat that does not have any sort of rudder underwater, rather it has a large fan strapped to the back of a boat allowing them to move over swamp water without any issues. These airboats are being used all around the world in swamps because of their ability to move quickly in those waters without having to face any clogged motors.

The first airboat was built in 1905 in Canada and the British army used the machines in 1915 during the First World War. But it wasn’t until 1930 that the civilians got their hands on one. Since the design started to work in civilian applications more and more modifications were made and over the years to perfect it for the use in civilian applications.
