It’s the start of an exciting few months at Walt Disney World, with the Halloween festivities already underway in the Magic Kingdom. Today we’re going to share some of the most recent updates from our Disney vacation planners to help you plan your upcoming Disney vacation to Orlando.

Halloween is Here

It may only be August but Halloween has already started in the Magic Kingdom. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has finally returned after the recent pandemic, and guests have been excited to see many of the old favorite entertainment options return. If you are planning to attend the party over the next few months, make sure you book your tickets soon. This is especially important if you are traveling nearer to the day of Halloween itself, as these parties often sell out well ahead of time. Expect characters in their Halloween costumes, trick-or-treating, Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, and much more during this after-hours event in the Magic Kingdom.

World Princess Week 2022

August 21st marks the start of World Princess Week 2022. At Walt Disney world, you’ll find many special sweet treats on offer to celebrate this week, including the Moana Cone and the Anna and Elsa Cupcake. It’s the perfect excuse for any princesses in your family to dress up during your Disney vacation and enjoy taking some beautiful photos with the castle as the backdrop.

TRON Attraction Updates

One of the most highly anticipated attractions for the next couple of years is the TRON Lightcycle in the Magic Kingdom. It appears that the attraction is getting towards its final stages, with the track work completed at the current time. Vehicle testing is already underway in the park, which you may notice during your next day in the Magic Kingdom. We can’t wait to hear more updates from Disney about the opening date for this attraction.

MagicBand+ on shopDisney

If you are looking to plan for your next vacation, head to shopDisney to take a look at the new MagicBand+. You’ll find there are a variety of new designs which have been added to the website this week, including a classic Mickey Mouse pattern and one featuring the Orange Bird. The new MagicBand+ has plenty of great features, all of which will help to enhance your day in the parks. While they aren’t completely necessary for a Disney vacation to Orlando, kids and adults alike enjoy the many benefits of wearing a MagicBand during their stay.
