Planning your “Happily Ever After” isn’t as easy as Hollywood movies make it look. A successful wedding reception requires meticulous planning. From the catering to the decoration, and the venue—it can take months or even a year to plan everything!

But that doesn’t mean you can’t make it magical and special. On your big day, you deserve to be treated like royalty. And what better way to hold a grand, unforgettable wedding than at Disney World?

Here’s you how can plan your real life fairytale at the magical world of Disney:

The Planning

First things first, check out this Dream Wedding Maker board that’s dedicated only to Disney World weddings. You’ll get an idea of what you can do, all the best venues, and get a price estimate.

Decide on the type of Disney Wedding Package you’d like to go for. Disney World offers three types of packages for couples—the Memories Package, the Escape Package, and the Wishes Package.

The Memories Package accommodates up to 4 guests, in addition to the bride and groom. The Escape Package accommodates up to 18 guests. This does not include the bride and groom.

And finally, the Wishes Package accommodates up to 18+ guests, including the bride and groom. The Wishes Package can be booked for weekends but the other two can only be booked during weekdays.

You’ll have to pay for enhancements prior to booking. Each package comes with its own benefits.

Choosing the Venue

Once you’ve chosen a package and booked your wedding, Disney World will offer up to thirty-five venues.

Popular venues include: Epcot’s World Showcase, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the resorts at Magic Kingdom. You can also hold it in one of the restaurants at Epcot. But if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of crowds, we recommend holding it at an inn

The inns at Disney aren’t as crowded and will give you the satisfaction of holding your wedding at Disney World, without the interference of crowds.

Catering Services

As for the food, we recommend going with Franck’s Bridal Studio. You’ll have an array of options to choose from. You can get your own cake or buy one at one of the bakeries at Disney World.

If cake-cutting is not your thing, you can hold a dessert party at Disney World’s Epcot or Magic Kingdom. The best part is that you will be accommodated if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. The chefs at Franck’s Bridal Studio will go offer the menu with you. You can get a taste test done before booking the services.
