We’re back today to share some of the top updates for your next Disney vacation. A trip to Walt Disney World is always best planned with one of our Disney vacation planners, who keeps up to date with the latest news and changes from the theme parks. Let’s take a look at some of the most recent announcements from the company to see how they will impact your upcoming vacation.

Thanksgiving Celebrations in the Theme Parks

Thanksgiving is a popular time for visitors from across the US to head to Walt Disney World. If you are visiting at this time of the year, you’ll want to start planning now so that you get ahead of the crowds and secure popular dining reservations. We were excited to see the new snacks and dining options in the parks this year, which Disney recently announced. The Gobble Wobble Bundt Cake and the Maple Pot de Crème are two dishes we can’t wait to try this year and they offer the perfect way to celebrate Thanksgiving in the parks.

Blizzard Beach Updates

If you are looking to escape the busy theme parks on your next Disney vacation, our Disney vacation planners always recommend a day at the water parks. The good news for frequent visitors is that Blizzard Beach has undergone some refurbishments recently, so the park will look completely different when it reopens next month. Expect new features in the park influenced by the popular movie franchise Frozen, which will delight kids and adults alike. There will also be a new holiday experience in the water park this year, where you can meet a tropical Santa Claus during your visit.

More Meet and Greets Return in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

One of the biggest losses in the parks during the COVID-19 pandemic was the lack of character meet and greets around the theme parks. We’ve been happy to see the parks slowly return to normal over the past year, and meet and greets are back in their traditional form once again. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is now going to see the return of Andy’s toys in Toy Story Land. Your family will be able to meet their favorite Toy Story characters each day in the park for the first time since March 2020. It adds yet another great way to interact with these movie stars during your next day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

As you can see, there’s a lot to look forward to in the parks over the upcoming months. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, there’s no better time to start planning your next Disney vacation. The holidays are one of the most exciting times to visit Walt Disney World, but you’ll want to work with our Disney vacation planners to ensure you make the most of your time in the parks. Disney News and Updates – November 2022

The holidays are one of the most popular times of the year to visit Walt Disney World. Over the past few weeks, Disney has made some exciting announcements for anyone visiting over the next few months and into the start of 2023. Today our Disney vacation planners are back to share some Disney news and updates to help you plan your next Disney vacation.

EPCOT Festival of the Arts 2023

The EPCOT Festival of the Arts is a highlight of the start of each year. Disney fans were thrilled to hear the festival would return once again in 2023. The dates have just been announced for this festival, which will run from January 13th, 2023, until February 20, 2023. You’ll have about six weeks to enjoy this festival, which celebrates art, theater, and so much more. The food booths that are scattered throughout the park offer unique offerings for your meals and you’ll enjoy meeting Disney artists who are here to share their talents with the theme park guests each day. We recommend checking out the event calendar before your visit so that you don’t miss out on any of the fun.

Candlelight Processional 2022

EPCOT is home to the Candlelight Processional each year, which celebrates the holiday season by telling the Christmas story. Disney recently announced narrators for this year’s shows, which run throughout the holiday season. A few of the new narrators we are excited to see this year include Josh Gad and Simu Liu.  If you are looking to attend this show, we recommend booking one of the dining packages ahead of time. This offers you a ticket to one of the shows during the same day as your meal, saving you time queueing in the very long lines. Otherwise, make sure you arrive nice and early for your preferred show time, or you may miss out on this amazing experience.

Booking Updates for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser

If you’ve been thinking about booking a stay at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, there’s no better time to start thinking about the dates you want to travel. This is one of the most exciting additions to any Disney vacation you could make, and our Disney vacation planners would love to assist you with this. We’ve heard there is still good availability for the next year or so, but we expect bookings to increase nearer to the holiday season. This experience only opened earlier in the year, and it looks to be one that no Star Wars fan would want to skip out on doing at least once.

If you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World in the next few months, we recommend booking your Disney vacation and dining reservations in the next weeks. It’s one of the busiest times of the year, so you’ll want to start planning now to make the most of your time in the theme parks. To learn more about availability for the next few months, get in touch with our Disney Vacation Planners today, who will be excited to share their knowledge of the resort with you.
