It’s a great time to be planning your next vacation, whether you’re jetting off to the Maldives, or the mountains. A great option for family fun is the number of themed amusement parks you can visit around the country. You could take a Disney tour, stop by Legoland or set off to SeaWorld. There are plenty of options to choose from, and you’ll never be bored of them.

Fun, adventure and learning? SeaWorld it is!

SeaWorld is quite the mammoth—or whale—when it comes to how large it is. There are so many things to do here, it’s impossible to get bored. But that’s why it’s even more important to take care of yourself and your health when you’re hitting the park.

Some handy tips to stay hydrated around the park

It’s summer, which means temperatures are soaring and hundreds of thousands of people are flocking to major parks. Orlando is the theme park capital of the world anyway—so some people will prefer to take a private VIP tour of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, others will come see the incredible marine life at SeaWorld.

Either way, it’s important to prepare before your visit so you can maximize the fun you have there. Prepare in advance to avoid problems during the actual trip, so you don’t end up feeling frazzled and flustered. Not just that, it’s important to remember that you need to take care of your physical health too, including food and drinks.

1) Invest in reusable water bottles to refill around the park

This is important because it will help you keep your personal bottle of water, as well as snacks on you. Pack fruits and other water dense foods and drinks—but remember to check their rules and regulations beforehand.

Refillable bottles are not only more environmentally-friendly, but in fact, they’re also a great way to save up. Instead of walking around buying bottles all day, you can easily refill your bottles from the various water fountains and drinking water facilities around the park.

2) Use the ice cups available

You can get ice refills from the many food stalls and booths around the park. As is the case with Disney and Universal Studios, SeaWorld also offers visitors a chance to get cups of ice. Just ask!

3) Seek shelter and avoid the heat

It’s probably best to time your private VIP tour of SeaWorld to avoid midday heat. You’ll end up with heat exhaustion and feel sick if you’re out in the heat too long. Head back to your hotel, catch a snack or take advantage of the air-conditioning.

Remember, hydrate and have fun!
