Great news for all the water park fans! Blizzard Beach reopened on November 13th. There are some fun new updates in the water park, such as a new Frozen-themed play area for kids and other Frozen touches and details throughout the park. See the full update here

Ticket Price Increases Announced

Starting on December 8, 1-day 1-park tickets will now be priced based on the park and time of year you visit. Previously, all 1-day 1-park tickets were equally priced and could be used interchangeably at all four parks.

Here is the new pricing range for all four parks:

  • Magic Kingdom: $124 to $189
  • EPCOT: $114 to $179
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: $124 to $179
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: $109 to $159

Here is the announcement from Disney:

Beginning Dec. 8, Walt Disney World will introduce park-specific pricing on 1-day, 1-park tickets. Moving forward, guests will select a date and theme park before purchasing their ticket. When you purchase a 1-Day ticket for a specific date and theme park, a theme park reservation will automatically be made at the time of purchase.

Annual Passholder Ticket Prices Announced

While most of the Annual Passholder tiers are still paused, when sales resume, the prices will increase. These price changes go into effect on December 8th, even though AP ticket sales are not yet available, with the exception of the Pixie Dust Pass.

Here are the price updates:

  • Incredi-Pass increasing from $1299 to $1399 – currently paused
  • Sorcerer Pass increasing from $899 to $969 – currently paused
  • Pirate Pass increasing from $699 to $749 – currently paused
  • Pixie Dust Pass remains $399 – currently available for purchase

Ticket sales are anticipated to resume in early 2023, although no confirmation from Disney. It’s also assumed that if you have a current Annual Pass, you will still receive a discount at the time of renewal.

Fantasmic! Popularity Calls for More Shows

With the popularity of Fantasmic! returning to Hollywood Studios, the second showtime has been added for most dates through the end of 2022 and early 2023.

Most showtimes are scheduled for 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM, but it’s recommended to confirm showtimes in the My Disney Experience app on the day you are visiting.

Plan to line up for your seat approximately 45 minutes to an hour ahead of showtime.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Holiday Overlay Update

Just a quick update for those waiting on this fun holiday attraction overlay. Disney has confirmed that it will start on November 25th and run through December 30th, as part of EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays.

Dining Cancelation Policy Changes

Disney has changed their dining cancelation policy. You can now cancel up to 2 hours in advance of your reservation without any cancelation fees. This is a big change, and provides a lot more flexibility in your day!

Previously, you had to cancel up to 24 hours in advance. Cancelations can be made directly in the My Disney Experience app. This may not be available for every single reservation, so be sure to read the cancelation policy when making each reservation.
