HALLOWEEN TREATS FOR ALL!

It feels like the Halloween season started SO long ago at Walt Disney World (probably because it did)! The ghoulish season starts in August at the parks, but the rest of the world has finally now caught up and it’s really time to celebrate the spooky season! And you can count on Disney to pull out all the stops when it comes to yummy treats and snacks fit for the season. Disney Parks shared a list of where you can find all of these new sweet treats. See the complete list HERE. And if you are visiting Magic Kingdom and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party specifically, there’s a separate list with some exclusive treats. Check that out HERE.

CRYSTAL PALACE CHARACTER DINING RETURNS!

On September 20th, Winnie the Pooh & Friends finally returned to Crystal Palace for lunch and dinner! It feels like fans have been waiting forever for this to happen. If you love Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore then this is the place for you. Make sure to book your reservation today! And if breakfast is more your thing, you are in luck because the character breakfast will resume on October 25th (reservations opened on September 22nd). I suspect this may be popular since this is one of the only character dining options in Magic Kingdom (aside from Cinderella’s Royal Table or Be Our Guest with the Beast). DISNEY’S KITE TAILS COMING TO AN END

This one really comes as no surprise – it wasn’t the most popular show and had quite the reputation (good and bad). Whether you loved it, or hated it, Kite Tails at Animal Kingdom is officially ending on September 30th. As Josh D’Amaro expressed during the D23 Expo, fan and customer feedback is important to Disney leadership, and they are listening. Clearly they are, because this show has been often criticized since its opening. It will be interesting to see what comes next in the Asia area outdoor theater.  It seems that Disney hasn’t had too much success with shows in this space. Hopefully the next one to come does much better! No word yet on what that is.

CELEBRATING HISPANIC AND LATIN AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH

In the spirit of celebrating, Disney will be showcasing a great variety of entertainment, authentic experiences, specialty food and beverage items, and art inspired by Hispanic and Latin American cultures. They have compiled a full list HERE.  Check it out for all the details if you will be visiting Walt Disney World and take interest in this.
