EPCOT is a theme park that’s always developing and changing, and the past few months have seen some major new additions to the park. Keep reading to discover what’s new in EPCOT to help you plan your next visit to Walt Disney World. Orlando VIP Tours can assist your family in exploring all the new attractions at Epcot. The park has a lot of exciting plans for the near future, and we can’t wait to see how it develops over the next few years.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Without a doubt, the most exciting addition for fans of the Marvel franchise is the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind coaster in EPCOT. You’ll head through an exciting adventure on a vehicle that rotates through 360 degrees. It’s the company’s first reverse launch coaster, making it one of the most thrilling rides that have ever been seen in EPCOT. Keep in mind that this attraction is very popular at the current time, so make sure you use the virtual queue in order to secure your place in line.
Harmonious is the new night-time spectacular in EPCOT, and it’s well worth sticking around until the end of the day to enjoy this show. It can be enjoyed from anywhere in World Showcase and features many of your favorite Disney characters in this musical celebration.
When it comes to dining, you are spoilt for choice during a day in EPCOT. Space 220 is located right by Mission: Space, and offers a new dining option in this part of the park. Guests travel up to space, enjoying incredible views over the galaxy as you dine from an experimental menu. If you aren’t able to get a reservation to dine here, consider enjoying a drink and appetizers in the lounge instead, which still offers you amazing views.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Shrink down to the size of a rat with this new addition to the France pavilion in World Showcase. It’s inspired by the attraction from the Paris theme park and has been open for a few months at this point. Guests were thrilled with this addition to the park, as it offers another family-friendly attraction for kids and teens. You’ll receive a pair of 3D glasses as you head into the ride, so keep in mind that this attraction may not be suitable for anyone with motion sickness.
La Crêperie de Paris
The France pavilion also received a new dining option, which is available for both quick-service and table-service dining. You’ll be delighted by the variety of crepes on the menu, with both savory and sweet options. It’s a great option when you need a quick but substantial snack on the go, before continuing your exploration of World Showcase on foot.
These are just a few of the highlights of the additions to EPCOT in the past few months. This park is in constant development, and as the Future World area of the park has now been rethemed and renamed, we can only expect to see more new openings in the park over the next few years. Remember to look into the virtual queue and Genie+ options when heading to EPCOT over the next few months, as these new rides are incredibly popular and attract long lines from first thing in the morning until the park closes each night.
